Virgin London Marathon
The Virgin London Marathon is taking place on Sunday 25 April 2010. It’s one of the world’s most famous road races, attracting world class professionals and amateur runners from all over the globe. The atmosphere on the day is incredible with 35,000 participants completing the course and thousands of cheering supporters lining the route. It is an amazing experience to take part in. Our runner Daniel Leckey is staying focused and training hard. Show your support for the countryside by sponsoring Dan (his online sponsorship page link is below) and if you’re there on the day do give him a cheer as he goes by!

Bupa London 10, 000
The Bupa London 10, 000 takes place on Bank Holiday Monday 31 May 2010. It starts and finishes in St. James’s Park and uses Green Park as its assembly area.Runners pass many of London’s famous sights, including Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The London Eye, Cleopatra’s Needle, Tate Gallery, Millennium Bridge, The Monument, Lloyds of London, Leadenhall Market, Bank of England, Mansion House, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Horseguards, Nelson's Column and Admiralty Arch. Could you help raise funds with a sponsored event?
A sponsored event can be a really good way to raise funds and create awareness for CPRE and it can be great fun as well. You could choose to set yourself a personal challenge such as a marathon or get together with some friends for say, a sponsored litter pick.
