CPRE’s Water Campaigners’ Checklist has been produced by our Water Volunteers’ Network. It sets out what campaigners can do to press local and regional authorities to use their existing powers to the full – both to reduce consumption and contamination, and to manage our wetlands, rivers and floodplains. The Checklist provides an introduction to water management issues at local and regional levels, and sets out how to achieve campaign successes. It should be read in conjunction with the Environment Agency’s Water Resources Strategy for England and Wales.
