- 2026 - A Vision for the Countryside
- This new charter for the countryside describes the England CPRE wants to see in 2026, our centenary year. The Vision, produced after wide consultation, pictures a countryside in 2026 that is used and valued by all as a national asset, helping create a healthier, less stressed nation where people are in tune with the environment and aware of their impact on it.

An assessment by CPRE of Natural England's first year
Our report on Natural England one year on, finds it has made progress but still has a long way to go in becoming an effective champion to protect the future of our countryside. We’ve found that Natural England has worked well on getting funding for farmers to protect landscape features and wildlife but it needs to do more at a strategic level including better support for the planning system.- Report
