Road Safety Strategy Consultation
The Government published A Safer Way – Consultation on Making Britain’s Roads the Safest in the World in April 2009. CPRE supporters made over half of all written responses to the consultation.  The final strategy is due out in mid 2010.

Local Transport Plans
Local authorities are consulting on their next Local Transport Plans, which are due to come into force in 2011. The plan sets out transport policies and schemes so is the key opportunity to secure commitments in your local area to improving transport and also accessibility, such as by bringing services closer to users rather than just improving transport services to them.
